Celebrate the Fourth with the original U.S. flag that had 13 stars and 13 stripes!

flage_make1Materials and Preparation

Get the necessary supplies:
•  popsicle sticks
•  glue
•  scissors (not pictured)
•  flags. You must print the flags with a color printer. You have a choice of size:

Small  |  Medium |  Large

For this, we have chosen small size. If you use the medium and large size, you will have to substitute something for the popsicle sticks.

1. Carefully, with the scissors, cut the flag from the printout.

2. Fold the flag in half so that the front and back sides are lined up.

3. Open it up and put the popsicle stick in the middle. Add glue to one side of the stick and firmly press it against the paper.
