Sparkler Decorations
Make table decorations for your Fourth of July dinner!
Materials and Preparation
Get the necessary supplies:
• construction paper (red, white, and blue)
• popsicle sticks
• kitchen brush with bristles.
• double sided tape
• scissors
1. Cut the construction paper into 3 x 5 pieces.
2. Fold in half (like a book) and cut slashes 3/4ths of the length of the paper.
3. Begin to fold around popsicle stick. Use double- sided tape to ensure a firm bond between stick and paper.
4. With your fingers, shape construction paper to make the final product look like a sparkler or firework. When done, you can put them in a glass filled with red, white, and blue jelly beans. A cool Fourth of July decoration!
