Festive Streamer
Make a hanging decoration for the Fourth of July.
Materials and Preparation
Get the necessary supplies:
- construction paper (8 ½ x 11) and tissue paper (red, white, and blue)
- double-sided tape
- pipe cleaner
- paint
- small sponge
1. Put double-sided tape along the 8½-inch edge of the paper.
2. Make the paper into a cylinder and press firmly on the area with the tape so it can stick.
3. Cut tissue paper into strips.
4. Tape the strips of tissue paper inside in cylinder and decorate the sides with paint using the sponge.
5. Add the pipe cleaner on the top for a simple yet charming decorative piece.
